    - A campaign of resilience for kids during Covid-19 -

  • It's a small world after all...

    (We're all connected!)

    THE ORIGINAL CHALLENGE

Kids around the world are facing challenges of resilience, including those related to Covid-19. This has impacted kids in many different ways. Many are missing the structure of school, as well as their connection to classmates and caring adults.

Sharing a message of hope can really help with the mental health of kids (and can feel really good). And that's where you come in...

    WHAT CAN YOU SAY?

A hopeful video message can go far (around the world even). Something like:

    • Introduce yourself and say something about yourself...
    • Relate to being stuck inside…
    • Send your strategies to stay healthy - mentally, physically and emotionally…
    • Encourage kids to do the things that make them happy...
    • Recommend they try something new...
    • Remind them to (virtually) connect with their friends and family as often as needed...
    • Suggest they offer to help out around the house or perform an act of kindness...
    • Tell them to reach out to kids who don't have many connections or friends...
    • Blow a kiss at the end, BUT DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE when doing it! (that's #TheGoodViral signature)
    • Post to Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and use the hashtag #TheGoodViral
    • Ask your friends and family to share with kids and follow
  • Easy Peezy...

    (lemon squeezy!)

    Step 1

Record a short message of hope that can apply to kids anywhere in the world. You can end the video by blowing an air kiss.

    Step 2

Upload your video to social media with the hashtag #TheGoodViral, and nominate your friends and followers to share their own messages of hope.

    Step 3

Forward your message to any parents or teachers you know so they can share it, especially with younger kids who don't have access to social media.
